LSHTM Alumni Network Launch in São Paulo (2015)
In October 2015, the launch of the London School of Hygiene & Tropical Medicine (LSHTM) alumni network took place in São Paulo, Brazil. Telemedicine and Cost-Effective Care
Since 2023, my work has also focused on telemedicine as a practical and scalable approach to improving access to healthcare, particularly for international patients, expatriates, and visitors in Brazil.
Improving Access and Reducing Unnecessary Utilisation
Telemedicine enables timely medical assessment while reducing unnecessary in-person consultations, avoiding avoidable visits to hospitals and emergency services when not clinically indicated.
