Viver Angola was a Brazil–Angola initiative created to facilitate professional exchange, knowledge sharing and international collaboration between the two countries. The project brought together healthcare professionals, educators, students and organisations interested in opportunities for professional development, training and cooperation in Angola.
Over the years, Viver Angola developed a significant online presence, reaching visitors from 89 countries and accumulating more than 99,000 website visits. The initiative also built a network of nearly 2,000 registered professionals interested in working or studying in Angola and attracted a community of more than 10,000 followers through its Facebook platform.
The project was supported by organisations with experience in healthcare consulting, professional training and data management, serving as a bridge between Brazilian and Angolan professionals during a period of growing collaboration between the two countries. In addition to employment opportunities, the platform disseminated information on education, healthcare systems, professional registration, and international mobility.
Role and Contribution
Dr Fábio Luiz Vieira was the founder of the Viver Angola initiative and participated in the development of professional networks, educational programmes and healthcare cooperation activities connecting Brazil and Angola. The project emerged from previous healthcare consulting and health systems initiatives developed through VZ Associados and e-Basis, creating opportunities for collaboration between healthcare professionals, educators and institutions in both countries.
Community Impact and Testimonials
Throughout its history, Viver Angola published testimonials from Brazilian professionals and families living in Angola, documenting experiences of professional mobility, international collaboration and cultural adaptation.
